Front yard improvement project featuring a new engineered masonry retaining wall to stabilize a failing slope, control drainage, and create a clean, level planting area that improves curb appeal and protects the home’s foundation.
Project Overview
The existing front yard had a steep, eroding slope that was putting pressure on the sidewalk and creating ongoing maintenance issues. We removed the failing edge, installed a properly engineered retaining wall system with base preparation and step-downs to manage grade changes, and integrated drainage behind the wall to move water away from the house. The new wall creates a safe transition from driveway to entry, defines clear planting beds, and gives the property a more polished, welcoming streetscape.
