Purpose-built 500 sq ft garden suite that provides a self-contained living space with a full kitchen, bathroom, and private entrance for guests or long-term rental.

Project Overview

The homeowners needed flexible space that could comfortably accommodate family members and also work as a legal rental suite in the future. We designed and built a 500 sq ft detached garden suite in the backyard, complete with full kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedroom, and its own entrance. The exterior ties into the architecture of the main house, while the interior focuses on efficient layout, storage, natural light, and durable finishes so the space feels like a true secondary home rather than an outbuilding.
